The Herald of the Lich King, fed up with attacking random places like Tanaris and Azshara (locations probably chosen by a dart board) decided it was in his best interests to go after something a little more important.
Like Orgrimmar.
This probably wasn’t the smartest thing for the Scourge to do.
The Horde doesn’t take too kindly to swams of undead invading it’s city. And attacking after the zombie apocalypse? Not too smart either.
Y’see, when Orgrimmar was hit by zombies, we weren’t ready. Thrall was off visiting his grandma, Saurfang was off in Silvermoon making sweet, sweet… diplomacy to various blood elf ambassadors.
After the zombies, we were prepared. Illidan would be proud.
When you attack the Horde with all of your might, remember the basic laws of physics. Every action is met with an equal and opposite reaction.
And in the case of the Horde, this reaction results in your most powerful units becoming a new home for the catfish.
Oh hey, and did I mention that Thrall was back? Grandma made him cookies, and now thusly buffed, smacks some corpses down.
Congratulations, Arthas. The decision to attack Orgrimmar has resulted in the Horde deciding that invading your personal space and burning everything in our path is the best course of action.
Are you prepared?
We’re coming for you…
Edit:
So who’s keeping Thrall’s seat warm?
